Hello Friends! Here, I take this opportunity to describe myself in few lines. Myself, Bhuvan Chopra, a post-graduate in Environment and an avid nature enthusiast. My journey to become a hardcore environmentalist began from my childhood days. I have grown up amidst concrete jungle of Old Delhi but the chirping of birds, fluttering of leaves, and squeaking of squirrels always fascinated my soul. My first date with nature started in my teens when I adopted gardening and tree culture as my passion. Later my educational background drove me closer to the nature.
I feel there is still lack of interest in we-Indians when it comes to biodiversity. We are living in the time of climate change, pollution and other environmental crises. Everybody turn their heads toward techno-based solution to these issues. Technology is a boon but it has its own limitations. Why not find the solution in nature itself? We have tethered the nature with wounds of uncontrolled development. Why not help the nature to stitch its own wounds? The answer to this lies in restoration ecology. If we restore the components of nature, it will speedily recover itself.
Finally, I like to thank my brother Mayank Chopra, for helping me to come out with this blog.
